Roberts (Repub): * is deranged
and, oh yeah, dangerous.

http://smirkingchimp.com/article.php?sid=26314&mode=nested&order=0

'Bush gave a delusional speech that shows he is detached from reality. "We're going to help the Iraqis build a strong democracy that will be an inspiration throughout the Middle East, a democracy that'll be a partner in the global war against the terrorists."

Has no one told Bush that the Iraqis cannot even agree to form a government? The day before Bush's delusional Cleveland speech, Iyad Allawi, the former prime minister of one of our make-believe Iraqi governments, said that in Iraq the casualty rate from the sectarian strife is so high that "if this is not civil war, then God knows what civil war is."'

1. NeoCons are Utopians
They think by their policies and action the MidEast will become some kind of Jeffersonian Democracy.

2. They're hypocrites.
What they mean are fawning puppet governments in which everyone says 'Yes, Massa" to the great and wonderful Americans. By no stretch of the imagination do they mean independent democracies which can say "Fuck you, Americans" any time they want.

4. It's the Curse of Woodrow Wilson
who talked about Jesus so much he was despised and laughed at the armistice treaty.

Now it is the Repub turn to be theocrats and prigs.

3. Republicans believe that if it's on paper it's so
for finances, policy and everything else...because some report says so it must be true, or any problem is solved because there is a policy written somewhere to cover it...I've seen this kind of management in business, what is before your eyes isn't real, the report is real...
