The Democrats are BLOWING!! it again
They have let the republicans once again frame the debate on this Iraq issue. Randy Rhodes had a good point when she said quote: the democratic party doesn't speak as one on any issue and there should be differences in opinion in the party on any issue. why can't any Democrats come out and say what she said. instead of these Dem's getting on these shows looking stupid trying to explain why the Dem's are split on the war, they try explaining themselves with there tongue tied with the host and the republican laughing at them. first off the Democrats should try and change the subject to like prescription drugs for seniors that is a hot issue that is being ignored. the iraq war is a complete mess and there isn't any exit stratagy to get out and what ever the dems. stance is on it doesn't matter the party in power is the one that will pay the price at the polls but however with the dems letting the repubs control the debate on iraq it makes them look foolish. And where the hell is Howard Dean?

1. I've said it somewhere else and I'll say it again - the democrats
must be perceived as a unified party or we will lose again.

Thats right, the way there going there's no chance in hell that they will take back the house or the senate. they seem to be just going through the motions.

2. As an opposition party to the current coup underway
The Democrats have proven time after time to be ineffective. The current republican offensive which just got underway has been well planned at thought out. All of the talking heads on cable are just gushing all over themselves.

3. The gop controls the debate because they control what goes to the floor
And they control the WH pulpit.

Which dems aren't talking about the medicare drug plan? There's an article about it in LBN right now.

Just yesterday Pelosi told Blitzer that dems have different opinions about different things- that they were representative of their districts.

4. THERE NOT BLOWING ANYTHING!!
I think there doing a decent job in the debate, stating the reason why we shouldn't be there in the first place and so forth. It's the repukes that are blowing it by not staying on topic, all they want to talk about is either the conflicts Clinton screwed up in or how we like to "cut an run."

There fine and i'm sick of all this negitiveity going on this forum relating to this debate, it's getting to be real annoying.

6. The Dem's
I think the media plays a LARGE!! part in this also. all day on different shows they have been talking about and playing clips of the republicans saying the same slogan CUT AND RUN!! its obvious the corporate media is trying to keep the republicans in power and trying to make the democrates look bad.

8. But were not cutting and running....
All there saying is that although we support our troops, we don't feel that they shouldn't be fightning in an unjust war based on false evidence.

That's all, repukes says that iraq is the center in the war on terror. Well it's the center of terror cause you created the center on terror, we had no need to go to iraq.

Afghanistan:yes
Iraq: NO!!!!
