Why Bush Had to go to Britain
Pomp, pageantry, and protest will be the highlights of President Bush's trip to Britain this week. Indeed, officials say this is the most ceremonial visit by a US president since Woodrow Wilson's in 1918

1. I saw a report on MSNBC this afternoon
They said Bush wants to bring back the memory of Reagan visiting the Queen. The piece showed video of Ronnie and Liz on horseback on the grounds of the Palace. I wonder if she knows this village idiot is afraid of horses? :eyes:

2. I have lost this Reagon thing.
Pray can anyone tell me why we should think Reagon great. Not the wall thing. We have been trying to get rid of Red Russia for 50 years and spend Billions on it, it hardly had a thing to do with Reagon. He was just there when it finally happened. Truman was there when the war was over but I think of it as a war FDR was really our leader.

6. Bush had tea with the queen before...
He travelled with his father then. And he did wear cowboy boots while having tea with the queen. I guess 2 or 3 wars against the axe of evil :-) are o.k. with the queen, but this wass too much, far too much.
Hello from Germany,
Dirk
