Secret 2001 Pentagon Plan to Attack Lebanon
Bush's Plan for "Serial War" revealed by General Wesley Clark

by A Concerned Citizen

July 23, 2006
GlobalResearch.ca

"Five-year campaign plan, he said, and there were a total of seven countries, beginning with Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Somalia and Sudan"

According to General Wesley Clark--the Pentagon, by late 2001, was Planning to Attack Lebanon

"Winning Modern Wars" (page 130) General Clark states the following:

"As I went back through the Pentagon in November 2001, one of the senior military staff officers had time for a chat. Yes, we were still on track for going against Iraq, he said. But there was more. This was being discussed as part of a five-year campaign plan, he said, and there were a total of seven countries, beginning with Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Somalia and Sudan.

...He said it with reproach--with disbelief, almost--at the breadth of the vision. I moved the conversation away, for this was not something I wanted to hear. And it was not something I wanted to see moving forward, either. ...I left the Pentagon that afternoon deeply concerned."

Of course, this wholly consistent with the US Neocons' master plan, "Rebuilding America's Defenses," published in August 2000 by the Project for the New American Century (PNAC)

And, as PNAC's website ( http://www.newamericancentury.org ) notes, that the lead author of that plan, Thomas Donnelly, was a top official of Lockheed Martin--a company well acquainted with war and its profit potential.

It's no surprise that Republicans are starting to talk about withdrawing troops from Iraq; the troops will be needed in Lebanon. And maybe Sudan and Syria?

1. Actually, one presumes that every major country has theoretical plans
for invading every country within its sphere of influence. Actually, the defense ministries would be amiss not to have such plans. For example, I am sure that Russia has plans for the invasion of China and vice versa. China has plans for the invasion of every country in East Asia, and India, Bangladesh and Pakistan have rooms full of plans.

But these are just plans. What would be disheartening, as General Clark and his companion saw, is that such plans are actually part of a master plan that has discrete steps for each one being completed, not mere theory, but part of a scheme to put them into action.

That is the troubling portion, not the plans themselves, but the fact that certain highly placed persons wish to put them into motion, not as the result of an attack or emergency, but part of an overall schema for domination.

2. Yes. Precisely. Contingency plans versus Let's Roll plans.

I may get blasted for saying 'Let's Roll'; those who still believe 19 Moslems and their backers were responsible for 9-11 probably consider the two words sacrosanct.

But, it's obvious PNAC is on a Let's Roll objective. They have not been secret about their attention. If they are going to go for the oil, it isn't wise to do it in one country - especially Iraq with such a small coast and long paths around and through potentially dangerous waters. And the bourse problem wasn't confined to Iraq.

Some of the clues they 'dripped' makes me firmly believe thay want oil and water pipelines all across some of those countries to the Mediterranean - whether through Israel or Israel and Lebanon.

Notice how Jordan and Saudi Arabia are never mentioned? Pakistan, also.

Kuwait and Qatar already seem to be onboard.

Who knows about Bahrain, the Emirates, Oman, etc.

I thought a strong military for the U.S. after the end of the WW2 was a good idea, but they made communism our enemy for profit, Korea, Vietnam, and now we have the Moslem, Oil, Water, and Currency War for profit.

No more diplomacy and no more sharing the planet with others.
