Gene Lyons: The President is not a Fact-Checker
Gene Lyons

"..."We do not know," "we cannot confirm," "highly dubious." How did Bush ignore these warning signs? He did not entirely read the document, the White House helpfully explained. That, of course, is perfectly in keeping with Junior's history. The NIE report on Iraq's weapons is all of 90 pages, footnotes included. Now you'd think that any president preparing to commit American soldiers to battle against "evildoers" supposedly armed with weapons of mass destruction would want to spend some time learning exactly what they might be facing. But George W. Bush had more important things to do. .."

3. Gene Lyons does it again. Great read!
Shows these thugs for the idiots they are. Notice how you don't hear the ol' "Well, Bush is surrounded by very intelligent, competent, seasoned people."

Wear some garlic folks, because these people are evil.

5. Talk about a major understatement !
The president not only isn't a fact checker, he doesn't give a $hit about the facts!

Fortunately, that can work to benefit us since he is apparently unconcerned about the FACT that the majority of Americans who oppose him continues to grow.

6. Boy...thank God we didn't elect that "arrogant" Al Gore!
Remember what an annoying know-it-all policy wonk he was? Glad we elected the guy that the media christened the most likeable...you know, the candidate most Americans would rather sit and have a beer with??? SOOOOOOO GLAD!
