Cheney Makes Encore Bird-Slaughtering Performance Near Pittsburgh
On January 8, the rural Rolling Rock Hunting Club near Pittsburgh was revisited by dead-eye Dick who slaughtered scores of pheasants and mallards there a few years ago in a canned hunt. As was the case after that first crime against sportsmanship, Pittsburgh Post Gazette columnist Tony Norman provides us with a classical-literature-type satire of the disgraceful event.

2. Brilliant satire wherein ghosts of dead soldiers and citizens haunt Cheney
This is a great satire - well worth reading the entire link. It has the entire cast of "players", including Nancy Pelosi, as well as Cheney's servile minions. (Our local news said that Cheney's guests included Rick Santorum and the president of the NRA. I find it pathetic that the president of the NRA participates in canned hunts!)

'The Tragedy of King Richard the Cheney.' Act. V. Scene III.
(With apologies to William Shakespeare, Christopher Marlowe, Francis Bacon, Ben Jonson, Sir Walter Raleigh or whoever else may have had a hand in the writing of "The Tragedy of King Richard the Third" in the first place.)

Enter Vice King Richard "Dick" Cheney and advisers -- the Duke of Defense, Robert M. Gates, and Lord Never Sorry, Bush Redux.

Cheney: Let's pitch our cabanas and guns here, even here on this happy hallowed hunting ground, east of Pittsburgh where pheasants and ducks are slow.

Cheney: Lord Never Sorry, why look you so sad? My aim is true these days.

Bush: My heart is ten times lighter than my looks. In fact, I'm not missing any sleep at all. Got anybody's mail for me to read? And, do you mind pointing that somewhere else?

5. Did he take his Supreme Court buddy again this year? Or was
ScAlito scared off by the Cheney aim?
