san diego union|tribune - Governor builds list of broken promises
<snip>

During the recall campaign that swept Gov. Gray Davis from office, Schwarzenegger said he would loosen the grip of special interests over public policy because he didn't need political contributions. Now, he is accepting donations at a rate that would put him ahead of Davis, who had been criticized as a relentless fund-raiser.

Schwarzenegger also has reversed plans for an investigation of groping charges leveled against him by 16 women. And the governor, inaugurated Nov. 17, has backed away from promises that a new audit would uncover "billions and billions" in waste.

Last week, he hinted that he may go back on his pledge to protect school funding.

But some advocates have been most distressed by his decision to break his promise to expand a health insurance program for poor children. Instead, Schwarzenegger has proposed limiting access to the mostly federally funded Healthy Families program and has sought other cuts in programs for poor children.

4. Cutting medical benefits for really sick children.
So much for compassionate conservatism. I wonder how many kids will die under his new proposed program? This is so draconian that I find it painful to read about.

5. Now that's going too far. Cutting back on health care for the poor
is going too far. When it comes to Republicans, I think it's pointless in trying to tweak their moral conscience, because they have nothing to tweak. So let's look at this from a practical standpoint. If the poor acquire airborne diseases because they can't get access to healthcare, then all these doom and gloom scenarios that we're one flu away from wiping out a large number of people is feasible.

Bottomline, it's time to send Schwing-boy a message. Start boycotting his movies. If they air on television, change the channel and call the television station to let them know why you did.

6. Code Pink should Panty Raid Arnold
Whenever he appears, Code Pink should toss hundreds of panties at him. Now THAT would be fun!
