SHIA, SUNNI TO DO BATTLE IN SUPER BOWL ADS
According to Adweek, this Sunday’s Super Bowl commercials promise to be not only groundbreaking, but bone-breaking, as Iraq’s Shia and Sunni sects will extend their centuries-old war to America’s airwaves. Here’s a preview of some of the more notable ads.

The Shia Frogs: Three frogs, in synchronized fashion, croak out “Moktada–al–Sadr,” and then flick their elongated tongues to catch some unsuspecting Sunnis. This commercial will immediately be followed by a Shiite militia member endorsing Black & Decker power tools.

The Fallen Dictator: Another ad will feature a Shiite hurling a slow-motion sandal at the giant statue of Saddam Hussein, in imitation of the famous 1984 Apple commercial, parodying 1984.
