DEMS ‘EMBRACE’ BRITS’ PULLOUT, SEEK TO REVOKE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

Now that the British have started their departure from Iraq, Congressional Democrats are abandoning their plan to revoke Bush’s 2002 War Authorization, and instead have decided to swing for the fences: a binding resolution to revoke the Declaration of Independence.

Under the proposal, the United States would immediately “re-join” the Brits, and thus immediately follow their exit strategy right out of Iraq.

As Speaker Nancy Pelosi explained, “the British may once have been our oppressors, but now it’s our own King George who’s the royal monarch, not to mention a royal douchebag.”

I give a double take to all Onion and satiricalpolitical stories! Some of the "real" news stories we read these days could have easily been mistaken as one of their's!
