DEMS GO ‘BACK TO THE FUTURE’ ON 2002 IRAQ WAR VOTE
Democrats, waking up to the realization that non-binding resolutions are nothing more than political fiction, have now decided to try their hand at science fiction: going back to 2002 to “undo” the authorization for the Iraqi war.

Bringing in the Back to the Future Study Group, comprised of Marty McFly and Doc Brown, House and Senate Democrats were finally able to agree on a unified approach: time travel back to 2002 in order to vote against the war — both before, and after –they voted for it.

IWR was about Saddam Hussein and WMD's

That was then

Now Iraq is about Sunni Shia Civil War w US troops caught in the middle. So it isn't covered by IWR. So why not nullify IWR and have a new resolution that imposes timelines of Bushco?

It is the kind of "out of the box" thinking that seems pretty good to me.
