Economic Report: Outsourcing Of U.S. Tech Jobs To India Continues - 03/08/07

Economic Report:

Want to work for Qwest Communications? Then you better move to India. Last month the tech company laid off 10 percent of its U.S. workforce and during 2006 the company laid of 1,300 employees. The main reason is the pay scale. In the U.S. a tech worker will earn on average $37 U.S. dollars per hour, while in India the same job would only pay $17 U.S. dollars per hour.

1. There should be no wonder for the downturn in U.S. consumer spending........
and the inability of homeowners to pay their mortgages. corporate america will outsource its way into a recession followed by a depression.
