1. It's CHB.
Take it with a pound or two of salt.

2. This was a topic of conversation at lunch today.
I'm beginning to agree that we need a clean sweep: all new elected representatives who will do what they are supposed to do. For a change.

Having your hands in everyone's pockets seems to be expected behavior of politicians today. Americans have become complacent with the status quo.

Selfish, selfish Americans. Shame on all of us for allowing this to happen. Our ancestors fought so hard to give us a better life, and we let a bunch of crooks take it away from us.

I used to think this idea was crazy. Now I'm beginning to think you're crazy if you don't believe it's possible. Sad. :(

one, the United States, but when do we find the will to throw these bums out? frustrating truly frustrating, is there truth in POWER IN NUMBERS, when will this happen. This regime not only affects us, it affects everyone. Selfish is quite correct.

5. What we believed was so strong was really quite delicate.
That balance of powers was a delicate balance. With the absence of checks to Presidential power, and lack of oversight, the framework that held our system together has crumbled. Some States in our union are preparing impeachment procedures on their own, not waiting for Congress to act. Maybe this is the answer?

6. America is only dead if we resign our responsibility to fight back.
If we are a nation of cowards, then indeed, America is dead.

It's easy to write about the corruption and wrongdoing being enacted. Losers can write about that all day long. What we need is for us to garner up the courage, help each other garner up the courage as well, and fight for what is being done to us.
