{{{Pentagon considers new military force }}}
y Paul Stone
American Forces Press Service

WASHINGTON, Dec. 30, 2003 – The Pentagon is considering creating a military
force that would be dedicated to stability and reconstruction operations,
according to retired Navy Vice Adm. Arthur
Cebrowski <http://www.oft.osd.mil/biographies/cebrowski_with_pic.cfm>, chief of the Defense Department's Office of Force Transformation <http://www.oft.osd.mil/>.

Although it may be some time before a final decision is made on whether such a
force becomes reality, Cebrowski -- one of the department's chief architects in
the effort to transform the military -- said the ever-changing post-Sept. 11
security environment, as well as the lessons of history itself, make a strong
case for stability and reconstruction operations.

Why am I not surprised?

3. The American East India Corps
...should be financed, trained, equipped, and transported privately by the corporatists who seek to profit from its activities. Relieve the taxpayer and Armed Forces of this elective burden.

4. From the men who championed... "No Nation Building"...
ironic. Shout this plan out loud - and compare it to their view of "nation building" and note that this isn't just about Afghanistan and Iraq ... this is permanent (eg the expectation that we continuously do this.)

6. Here Come the Hessians!
You got it!

This is what they want!

Since all of our jobs are being sent overseas, why not hire people from the third world to do our dirty work? I bet they'll be a lot cheaper!
