The Declaration of Independence of the Thirteen Colonies
In CONGRESS, July 4, 1776
The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America,
When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. --That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. —Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government.
(1.) The cold blooded murder of New Orleans.
(2.) The theft of the 2000, 2002, & 2004 elections.
(3.) The rape Mother Nature by Cheney/Texas energy corporations.
(4.) Exchanging the blood of our children for stolen Middle Eastern oil.
(5.) The trashing of the American scientific community.
(6.) Killing the planet Earth with brain-dead Armageddon death wish policies.
(7.) Gouging gas prices which will soon exceed $5.00 a gallon.
(8.) Shooting friends in the face by a psycho vice president.
(9.) The vampire rich draining what’s left of the blood of America’s lower and middle classes.
(10.) Entering Presidential debates with little Karl Rove box/brains strapped to your back.
(11.) Lying to the American public during Presidential State of the Nation addresses.
(12.) Lying to America about EVERYTHING.
(13.) Handing over America’s foreign policy to the Neocon Lobby which is not and never has been
lobbying for the well being and national security of the United States of America.
(14.) Transforming our Democratic Republic into an early 3rd millennia version of the German Nazi Party.
(15.) Under funding out of existence a dynamic educational system.
(16.) Relentless attempts to gut Social Security.
(17.) The systematic destruction of America’s health politics.
(18.) The theft of America’s retirement policies.
(19.) Torture and murder as a matter of political policy.
(20.) Doing everything possible (intentionally or otherwise) to make America more vulnerable to terrorism.
(21.) The self evident allowing (encouraging?) of 9/11.
(22.) Rapidly pushing the American economy over the cliff of bankruptcy (e.g., how much of America’s soul has president pinhead sold to China?)
(23.) The going ballistic of Republican sexual and criminal scandals.
(24.) Bush/Republican policies which have made America the most hated country on the planet.
(25.) The infinite betrayal of civilization, compassion, rationality, and simple decency.
And hundreds of additional obscenities . . .
Isn’t it about time for Boston Tea Party # 2?
Perhaps we could call it the American Gas Gouging Party?
