Razor-thin TV screen
Razor-thin TV screen you can wear as a T-shirt

In the race for ever thinner displays for TVs, cell phones and other gadgets, Sony may have developed one to beat them all - a razor-thin display that bends like paper while showing full-colour video.

Sony will present the research and video at an academic symposium in Long Beach, California, for the Society for Information Display this week, the Japanese electronics and entertainment company said.

The display combines Sony's organic thin film transistor, or TFT, technology, which is required to make flexible displays, with another kind of technology called organic electroluminescent display, it said.

1. That is really incredible and the Japanese own the patents
...I wonder has the U.S. figured out how to make razor thin hamburgers that can be wrapped around our mid-sections so we don't actually have to eat them to appear fat?

4. Nah, dopey people already slouch around in T shirts
that advertise beer, cigarettes, clothing manufacturers, bands, tourist traps, and what have you.

Slobs will wear those things and they'll pay for the privilege.

5. Wow, I've dreamed about this for a long time. (literally)
I dream I am wearing these boots, knee high doc Martins, really shiny. And they have these TV screens on the side that are somewhat bendy, like the leather. And I love these boots very much in the reoccurring dream.
