How Do You Live With It When Your Country Becomes the Fourth Reich!?

How Do You Live With It When Your Country Becomes the Fourth Reich!?

You impeach and try the criminal bastards who did it, that's what! A first year law student can make the capital crimes case against George W. Bush now. So - why is the Congress afraid to impeach a prima facie criminal for whom a capital crimes case would be a cake walk?

What the MSM Won't Tell You: US Troops are ordered to kill Iraqi civilians indiscriminately. I won't live with that. Will you? How much longer will American citizens tolerate and by tolerating, enabling the most evil regime since Adolph Hitler. Will you be complicit in mass murder?

Through the general fog of censorship, official bullshit and one-sided reporting, revelations about US-led forces killing Iraqi civilians just keep coming. It's all verifiable. Much of it is admissable in court. Bush is the new "Fuhrer" and US troops are routinely ordered to commit war crimes. If you are in the armed forces and reading this, I suggest that you sober up, grow up and consider the implications of what you have been ordered to do.

We are not talking about renegade units. We are talking about US policy.

If you look, you can find the truth of it. As early as July 2005, reports were beginning to surface about a US policy that included the indiscriminate murder of Iraqi civilians. What was called a "stream of charges" were leveled at US commando units. Specifically, US marines were accused of the murder of the 21-year-old cousin of Samir al-Sumaidaie, the Iraqi government’s ambassador to the UN. It was called at the time a "counterinsurgency operation" and took place in Al Anbar province.

Need I recount the abominable war crime that US forces unleased upon the city of Fallujah?
It was laid waste by the American military and any idiot could make the case - at the international war crimes tribunal - that it was deliberate and it was ordered by higher ups. Possibly the White House itself?

Similarly, the provincial capital, Ramadi, was hit by repeated "sweeps", a euphemism for mass murder. It is said that they are "locating and destroying guerilla cells". I don't believe that. I no longer believe ANY official statement made by "my" government.

1. The people must demand impeachment... send letter, e-mail, phone
call. and then tell everyone you know to do the same.

2. K&R. The author is right, even if it is only one or two instances,
they are war crimes. Every time the US bombs a city that the US in officially occupying, it is a war crime. How do we live with this?

3. Demanding don't mean anything anymore
Edited on Fri Jun-08-07 08:16 PM by undergroundpanther
It will take a more radical action besides phone calls, waving signs yelling and votes now. Maybe a huge national strike? Oops we don't know what solidarity is anymore, Umm maybe 5th column whistle blowing ? Oops TV has made it so people don't have an attention span long enough to keep count of the rapid fire scandals and are too apathetic overworked and blind to thing happening s outside their own backyards to make it worth the risk to expose the truth to do that kind of work anymore...
Look I don't know how to change this shit and the ways I think might work I ain't gonna say online.

The corporation has ruined everything.
We let them do it.Now the beast has broken it's bounds of regulation and it will do as it will.
Which means we die. America was always fascist, it just hid that behind paper documents rhetoric and the flowery words of idealistic democracy we NEVER had..

5. I find it very very difficult to deal with......
I feel horrified, embarrassed, and semi-impotent.

The STORYTELLERS that got us here will be in the lowest level of HELL (I don't believe there is a hell, but if there is, they are SOOOOO there).

6. "Shock and Awe" doesn't have the ring of democracy in the making.
None of this ever had intentions of liberty.

All one needed to do was look at Bush. Who he was. Who he still is. It always was that simple. This flunky bully was never ever ever up to any good. Period.

As I sit here I realize that Democracy is legalized rebellion. But everyone is so comfortable they aren't willing to rebel. But now it's starting in ones and twos.

The whole thing has been so obvious it's pathetic. Over and over. America is clinically insane. I've been watching. People roving around in their motorized glass and steel boxes. That's all they care about.

It's late. I'm hardly on topic. Let's hope for a savior. Or two. Or one hundred million. WAKE UP assholes!

7. It feel hopeless
and then to take away our belief in free elections. I was late to catch on, to the concern of election tampering and all of the dirty tricks in Florida in 2000 and the crazy stuff in Ohio in 2004. To think that we might not be able to vote them out because KKKarl is 'fixing' all the votes. They need special punishment for dashing my patriotism. I like to believe in my country, believe that it is good and helps people have better lives. I don't feel that pride. I actually hate the fervent Nationalism, the keep your kind off my property pugnaciousness, that wants to build a fence across the bottom of my country. They want to fence me in. I don't like that. And the kicker is: no one is crying about the Canadian border. Is that because they aren't Mexicans? So Mexicans are so bad, how? We been doing business this way for how long, and now it's a problem? I don't get it? Am I, too, Blond? What about the Pacific and Atlantic shores? What about the great lakes? A fence is the damn dumbest ideas I ever heard of. So is the whole Immigration bill. So are the Wars. What are we doing in Afghanistan anyway. We have been lead the wrong direction as far and as fast as they could run the intention for the last six years. In six years ruined 600 years of Common Law, The Magna Carta, Habeas Corpus. They are The Destroyers

9. Haven't you heard? Most of America is more concerned with where Paris Hilton is sleeping tonight
than what our country has become or is doing in the world.....Torture, rendition, illegal warrantless spying on its citizens, illegal occupation and murdering of innoncent Iraqis, spending our taxpayer dollars on no-bid contracts for the Halliburton's etc....Why should Americans pollute their beautiful minds that we are becoming the most despicable nation in the world?

It's a sad and scary thing indeed...So, while I agree with your statements about what is wrong and what needs to be done, its not just our government, its the people....As awful as it is about what our government is doing, its really enabled by the people....and they want more Paris.... :puke:

10. Beginnen Sie, Deutsches zu erlernen!
Edited on Sat Jun-09-07 08:13 AM by file83
("Begin to learn German!")

In all seriousness, speak out, act out in protest, make others aware and encourage action.

If all else fails, then total anarchy and rebellion usually does the trick.

11. You ready for 10 or 15 million people to die?
Better question; Are you ready to KILL 10 or 15 million people?

I don't see a quiet, peaceful, revolution.

13. When all hope is lost, and there seems...
Edited on Sat Jun-09-07 11:35 AM by Discord
no more likely solution to repair the damage done of decades of willful neglect, there is but one and only way to once again fight for America.

Revolution.

We can all deny that this is indeed the path that we are headed down, but that is indeed the path we are on.

Those that still have hope that some great leader will emerge and lead us to a better world, I pray you are right. Hope is the only thing that would keep someone from rising up against the oppressors. Once one is stripped of all hope, that is the time when there is no other course of action but to surrender to your fate, or fight to make change. Which path will you take?

14. The majority of Americans will go along like sheep
until their complacency is broken by economic collapse.

When they're no longer able to be relatively "fat & happy," it won't be so easy for the corporate media to divert their attention- it's not just circuses that are required- the time honored quote from Juvenal is "bread and circuses."
