Shirley Smith: The Bush GOP Administration Should Get a Zero -- Period!

MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON

No zero tolerance has been shown for the fraud in US elections and the Bush GOP Republican Party's government is a byproduct of those elections. No zero tolerance is being shown for Bush, who keeps ignoring US laws, and snooping on the American people, handing out the names of Americans on lists due to his say-so, who were not the ones who caused 911. No zero tolerance when allowing bin Laden to escape and no zero tolerance for allowing the Bush GOP to constantly use 911 as an excuse to burn our Constitution and stomp all over our Bill of Rights.

The warhawks talk about more war with Iran because they got away with their lying about Iraq, due to no zero tolerance for government aggression. Then there are the punitive actions against the powerless and poverty stricken immigrants, to hide the real cause, which is the US government's policies with Mexico -- NAFTA . . . we see no zero tolerance for those actions by this criminal and treasonous government, as they are used merely to pit the American people against each other.

Bush has shown constant zero tolerance, himself, and he is a mere employee of the people . . . zero tolerance for any group who opposed him and he punished them. Those who support Bush have been financially rewarded with no-bid contracts, appointments, and the promoting of the Christian Coalition's beliefs through the Bush GOP administration. The meshing of church and state.

Cutting off guns from play toys and then trying to arm all American citizens, including those in our colleges, are merely mind games, played by the Bush GOP supporters, and they punish children for no real reason. Even today, Bush and his supporters are still quite comfortable with the killing that goes on in Iraq daily. None of them has actually seen the carnage they have caused that country, and during their pampered lives, none of them has probably ever so much as missed a meal.

Yes, we need "Zero Tolerance" based on sane and moral ideas, based on our own Constitution and Bill of Rights . . . and those ideas should start with a Zero Tolerance towards politicians and lobbyists being able to buy their power, and sell our government.

Start with ourselves and then maybe we will have earned the right to teach our children about zero tolerance. The problem is not "zero tolerance," but a government whose checks and balances have failed and whose complete tolerance of this Bush GOP government has led this country down the wrong path since Nixon, and the fact that we have had zero accountability for those in government who have committed high crimes and misdemeanors.

That's where our zero tolerance should zero in . . . accountability in US government.

Thanks BuzzFlash,

Shirley Smith
