A crowd of 100 stunned stargazers brought a town centre to a standstill when five mysterious UFOs were spotted hovering in the sky.

Drinkers spilled out of pubs, motorists stopped to gawp and camera phones were aimed upwards as the five orbs, in a seeming formation, hovered above Stratford-Upon-Avon for half an hour.

The unidentified flying objects lit up the otherwise clear night sky above Shakespeare's birthplace in Warwickshire on Saturday.

What was seen was the reflection of five mercury vapor lights next to the river. Due to a high micro air-density in the area, the light was captured on it like a movie screen.

There are no UFOs. There are no aliens, and no, YOU HAVEN"T BEEN ABDUCTED before!

By the way, I have some ocean-front lots in New Mexico for sale!

NOW'S the time to introduce themselves. I think the knowledge of a larger universe out there is pretty much the only thing that's going to stop us from waging this tribal warfare. Or maybe they just want front row seats for Armageddon.
