Onetime Reagan man now backing Obama

When the 2008 presidential race started, I was chairing a committee for Mitt Romney. This made it awkward to immediately pitch in for Barack Obama.

No longer. This onetime Reagan constitutional lawyer has endorsed Obama.

Most of my conservative friends are hoping that nonembryonic stem cell research will someday help me recover my wits. Conservative Catholics are just praying for me.

Democrats are doing their best to make nice in order to have Catholics and Reagan Democrats come home. Ronald Reagan won us over with his Midwestern, good-natured stardom, and the Democrats lost us by identifying less with our average family than with the juvenile delinquents next door. So we left. But Reagan's gone, and the Bush youngster has made a mess of virtually everything - foreign policy, the economy, you name it.

Mitten's would be just as f-ed up as McCain. Repukes are all the same.

They know they have run this country into the ground, and want a Dem to get it this go 'round to blame, to fix shit, and then they come back to pillage some more.

At first I thought it was a nice slap to McCain for dissing Romney, but its a nicely thought out piece.
