Are we Queen Palins devoted subjects?
Saturday, September 13, 2008

Is Queen Sarah Palin sacrosanct?

We fought a bloody revolution against King George of the British crown because one reason was that it was illegal to blaspheme the monarchy. The reason that free speech was the first amendment because a lot British subjects got tortured for saying anything slightly disrespectful. The GOP is demanding that Palin be treated deferentially? Why? Politics is a blood sport, what makes her so special? Wait a dog gone minute! Maybe she is special? Maybe not! Not everybody knows what Manifest Destiny is. So who is being sexist here? Is it because politics is a rough sport and since she is part of weaker sex we must be gentle? Is political chivalry really an option?
This whole Karl Rove scheme will not work. To paint Palin with the Madonna/ whore contradiction will just backfire on her. This woman has more baggage than a 747 jet. So why did they choose her? Because she is perfect! Americans has a, “American Idol” mentality. You think those tight skirts are a political statement? Of course her family is dysfunctional, isn’t most families in the USA? She has that Jerry Springer guest appeal. It’s doesn’t matter if her mayoral administration was corrupt! A lot trailer trash find that appealing. Because life is a game and you hurt others, that’s cool, it’s part of the game. Yeah, a lot of white people profess they are Christians, but they are CINOS. What is a CINO? “Christian in name only”. It’s family tradition. Christianity is a brand name to them, like Pentecostal, Methodist, and Lutheran plus other faceless dominations. They do not practice their religion nor abide the churches morality. Matter of fact, some haven’t attend church in years. So morality does not apply to Palin. She’s not evil, just ambitious. So if you got stick out your feet to trip your adversary, it’s God’s will.
Will this effect Obama’s candidacy? Not really, those who support McCain weren’t going to vote for him anyway! The right wing was envious of Obama’s mass appeal, so they created their own synthetic celebrity. Can Palin fill a stadium? I doubt it.
If Obama were to directly insult Palin, he would have called her a sow with lipstick. If you live in the mid west, you’d know what a sow is! But the Conservative elites who enact propaganda for the party wouldn’t know that.
So enjoy the Palin show while you can, after November, she will be gone.

1. I'm perfectly willing for Obama campaign members to be civil . . .
Even dignified. And of course truthful (of course for our side, of course -- 'Licans don't seem to feel the need; heck, they don't even believe truthiness is worth their while).

But deferential? Eat my shorts.

And it's not because politics is a blood sport, but because the lady hasn't earned any deference from me. And if half of what's coming out about her is true, what she's actually earned is contempt. And possibly enforced government accommodation and upkeep for 5-to-10.

I have always felt that you can be strong without being vile, and without having to lie. I've also felt that the Obama campaign has been staying a bit too far from the line you shouldn't cross without so degrading the political process that people stay away from the polls in disgust.

Maybe they agree with me. It seems they're more willing to call a pig a pig than they were a few days ago. Let's see.

2. Contempt is exactly what Palin deserves.
Any good qualities she may have (?) have been completely smothered in lies, smears, and crazy ideas. For me, that "cute" face is the hideous face of fascism, hanging out right there for all to see. And I thought Cheney was scary!

3. Palin is just a Neo-Con Spokes-model.
I am worried about election fraud, I am worried about assassination, but I am not worried about Palin. Though Tina Fay is a dead ringer!
