Sarah Palin, by the Numbers

2007: the year in which Sarah Palin first obtained a passport

312: the number of nights during her first 19 months in office that Palin charged taxpayers a "per diem" totaling $16,951 for staying in her own home -- an allowance intended to cover meals and incidental expenses while traveling on state business

$500 to $1,200: the fee that Wasilla charged rape victims to pay for post-sexual assault medical exams, after the city cut funds during Palin's tenure that had previously covered the exams

$150: the cash payment offered by the Palin administration to hunters who turn in legs of freshly killed wolves gunned down from airplanes

2. I agree!!
I just did that exact thing and blasted about 50 folks. Why would McCain pick someone like Palin and think he really has a chance at the Presidential seat? I mean really now...

3. And just consider this.
$500 to $1,200: the fee that Wasilla charged rape victims to pay for post-sexual assault medical exams, after the city cut funds during Palin's tenure that had previously covered the exams

Guess why. Just guess. Because most of these victims are native women and the perpetrators are anglos. It is as simple as that. Why do you suppose Alaska has so much sexual assault. It is never taken seriously as a crime.

5. Sweet Jesus, Palin is scary!
And worse, she keeps referring to a Palin-McCain administration. Lord help us all.

6. Crazy, Funny
This woman is a mess. I don't know what's scarier: her lack of experience, her lack of intelligence, her radical right wing ideas, or the fact that she says "nuc-u-lar" just like Bush.

This article made me laugh:

Following Success of McCain-Palin Model, Bob Barr Names Running Mate Kelly Ripa

It really is ridiculous.
