Where Will a 14 Point Obama Lead Drive McCain?
Besides to madness, where will the polling numbers from the Times and Quinnipiac drive McCain? Who will he pander to, next? Will he fire people? Will he get all angry at the debate tomorrow night? Or will John McCain finally decide to take the high road? I’m thinking the only chance he has is taking the high road. Not going to happen.

5. I don't think he knows
what he will do. Nothing has worked and turning up the volume on what hasn't worked probably won't do any good.

If he wants to have any hopes of keeping a decent legacy he needs to be honest and respectful. He doesn't need to crash and burn.

9. I suspect he is
in a no win situation, must choose to go down and lose his reputation, or go down trying desperately to win it back.

15. At this time Gore led Bush by 11 points in a CNN poll.
Don't take anything for granted.

16. You are right.
Due to voter suppression efforts by The Republicans, a perceived 11 point lead was no lead at all.
