The First GOP Whine is Here, About Obama Visiting Grandmother
Just hours before Barack Obama’s grandmother died, the Republicans in California decided to file a complaint against the Obama/Biden campaign for using the campaign plane to allow Barack Obama to visit his grandmother for the last time. This whine is not just ugly and a poor example of valuing family, but is incompetent in its timing.

2. I really enjoy (in a perverse way) today's GOP and their antics.
when all hope is lost, it is best to lose one's mind. That way the end won't seem that strange.

3. Correct me if I'm wrong, but taxpayers don't pay for the campaign plane, right?
So what exactly is their complaint? That they used donor money by flying that plane to HI? I don't think any of Obama's donors would mind.

5. that's ridiculous
even my racist, McCain voting parents thought that the "he should have flown commercial" argument was stupid. The man HAS to be surrounded by Secret Service and at this point has such an entourage around him (and validly so) that taking any other transportation would have been ridiculous. and the above poster is right...I donated and I'm perfectly fine with him using my money for gas to see grandma.

6. You take the complaint too seriously
Who cares about its validity? It is ugly to focus on, so shows true GOP values, and its timing shows true GOP incompetence.

Yes, and Obama's grandmother was every bit as evil as those people, because she gave birth to a woman who gave birth to a man who became a Democratic presidential candidate :eyes:
