The Barack Obama Honeymoon is Over, According to Kyl
The Senate’s Minority Whip, Jon Kyl, has decided to throw down the gauntlet and call short the Barack Obama Presidential honeymoon, seventy some odd days before it is to start. Kyl spent the last few years whining about Democrats blocking Bush judicial appointments, and now has decided that it is OK for him to do so. GOP Hypocrite.

3. McCain's lackey
This may be a sign that McCain's notion of supporting the President is hollow indeed.

10. Kyl gives all of us DArizonans that bare foot just stepped on something cold and squishy feeling.
He's a bigoted Bush clone who won't know what to do with himself when blivet is out of office. Obama must feel like the end of the world to him. Hence the reason he is squawking so loudly. He'll only succeed in making himself look even more like the tool everyone knows him to be. There are quite a number of Republicans that can't stand him. His next election is going to be cloooose.

14. The sad thing is that Kyl was re-elected to the Senate in 2006.
That means that we are stuck with him for four more years, failing miraculous intervention. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Kyl

Here's an interesting comment from the Wiki article (and perhaps why he hates us bloggers with a passion): "Kyl appeared in the U.S. national news near the end of the campaign as an example of a case where some bloggers were attempting to influence search engine results for searches on Kyl's name, using Google bombs.<6>"

Here's the article that the comment references: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/10/26/us/politics/26googlebomb.html?_r=1&sq=Jon%20Kyl%20google%20bomb&st=cse&adxnnl=1&oref=slogin&scp=1&adxnnlx=1219511160-Y1LSTZu+13u7uaatm+pHBQ

Too bad that the bombs missed their target in his case.

15. Heard in John Kyl's office
"Senator, the Vice President and the White House Chief of Staff are here to discuss your proposed filibuster on the President's Supreme Court nominee. I think they brought some fish, and it look like they brought the good steak knives."

19. Kyl is an idiot.
He is one of the dimmest bulbs in Congress, which explains why he has made progress in the GOP in this era of GOPers focused on being as foolish as they can possibly be.

Even idiots of the Republican variety have a vote, if elected.
