Presidential Debates: To Be Or Not To Be?
Presidential Debates: To Be Or Not To Be?

I find myself wondering what the likely upcoming Presidential debates will look like. In one corner, George W. Bush, the incumbent President whose surprise debate victories over a seemingly weakened Al Gore played a part in getting him elected (or selected, as some Democrats would argue) the first time. In the other corner, John Kerry, a man who is already calling for monthly debates all the way up to the November election.

It’s the Northeastern liberal versus the Northeast-born quasi-conservative.

1. Bush did not win those debates...

Gore lost them. And the whore media trashed Gore non-stop. It had nothing to do with Chimpy outwitting anyone.

He can't pull that "aw-shucks" routine with Kerry becuase he is too calm and focused for that to work on him. Besides, he is a "war president" now....Kerry is gonna hold him to that image.

The debates are gonna be a slaughter. Its gonna look like a father scolding his child.

2. The media whores...............
fawned non-stop over Bush during the 2000 'debates'. They set the bar so high for the idiot that they gave him glowing reviews for being able to get underneath it. Gore, on the other hand, was crucified for everything from his wardrobe to his "robotic" mannerisms.
Bottom line, the press whores gave Dumbya a free pass while holding Gore's feet to the fire for any little thing.
It won't happen this time. Dumbya has to run on his record, and there is no escaping the horrible consquences of the Bush administrations policies. They won't be able to keep his stupidity under wraps this time. It's all there in black and white for everyone to see.
