FEDERAL JUDICIAL SYSTEM: 3 ousted in shakeup at Bankruptcy Court

Three high-level administrators in the Clerk of Court's Office for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court have been dismissed, a federal judge confirmed Monday.

On March 12, Clerk of Court Patrick DeWane, Chief Deputy Edward Fisher, and Deputy Clerk Leonard Axelrod had their appointments terminated, said U.S. Bankruptcy Court Chief Judge Gregory Kishel.

Kishel declined to be more specific other than to say that their dismissals were not because of misconduct.

"The office is undergoing a restructuring of its management," he said, adding that soon there will be a national search for replacements...
