Rush Limbaugh Attacked by GOP Lemming
Rep. Phil Gingrey of Georgia has stepped to the plate to defend John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, who are what passes for Republican leadership nowadays, from attacks by the drug-addled and bloated King of Divisiveness, Rush Limbaugh. As attacks go, Gingrey’s is as limp as they come. Everyone in the GOP is still afraid of Limbaugh.

1. Republican politicians have really painted themselves into a corner.
The remaining Republicans, who donate to their campaigns, are, obviously nuts, and hang on every word Limbaugh speaks. So they really have to tiptoe around this huge bloated thing, and separate themselves even farther from reality, something to watch, something to see.

Something to celebrate.

18. It's a win-win for us no matter what...
If thugs disavow Rush, he is marginalized. He loses a lot of his power and hopefully maybe one day his dumbass radio show.

If the thugs defend Rush, they have hitched their wagon to a fringe nutbag and have continued their pattern of tone-deaf political maneuvers, further diminishing the Thug party.

The likes of Limbaugh, Coulter, et-al, don't believe any of the crap they spew, that have just found out there is a lucrative market of people who need to have someone or something to point to and say, "That's the reason my life is a failure." The problem is they are willing to damage their country to make that market work for them.

To me, to knowingly whip up peoples emotions against their country, particularly in times of war, is just un-American and verges on being treason.

Which was a crock of shit, as the person who said it would regularly quote statements Limburger made as if they were edicts from God.

Anyway, if Rush Limbaugh is what passes for "entertainment" in this country, then we are seriously fucked.

9. Right now, Limbaugh is being exposed as the buffoon that he is.
People who had believed his crap are seeing the fruits of those economic policies and feel betrayed. All Limpballs has left are the diehards who have no ability to think for themselves and just repeat the guy's talking points because they think it makes them sound intelligent.

Watched him on a DU video link to his recorded show -- he was wearing a short-sleeved T-shirt (one with a collar and a 3 or 4 button placket) and repeatedly kept plucking it out about every 20 seconds, as if he were overheated.

Anyone have any idea what THAT is about?

Anyone notice how much he looks like Rove?

Perhaps this is completely off topic, but I noticed something similar in Tim Russert in the months before he died. I remember thinking that he didn't look well. He looked hot and sweaty a lot with a ruddy complexion.

If only the same fate would befall Mr. Limbaugh that took Tim.
