extrapolating the increase in the number of people who are uninsured (employers are going to find it increasingly difficult to keep group insurance plans as the cost of coverage keeps going up(doubling every ten years)) the numbers show the increase in the number of uninsured by 2020 will be 66% over the number uninsured right now in 2009.

So these people who are against reform - Just how lucky do YOU feel? Do you think YOU will be one who still has insurance in the next 5 to 10 years? And guess what. If you ARE one of those who still has insurance, because of the huge increases in uninsured YOUR PREMIUMS WILL GO UP EVEN FASTER than they have been in the last decade - if your employer is going to keep group insurance the employee's share of the cost of premiums is going to be going UP!

GOD DAMN. I WISH SOMEBODY COULD KEEP TRACK OF THESE HYSTRIONINC EXHIBITIONISTS WHO THINK WE DO NOT NEED REAL REFORM SO WE CAN GO BACK TO THESE PEOPLE IN 5 OR 10 YEARS AND ASK THEM HOW THINGS ARE GOING. GOT INSURANCE? NO??? BUT YOU DON'T WANT ANY GOVERNMENT HELP DO YOU??? CAN I SHOW YOU THE TAPE OF YOU BEING SO OUTRAGED IN 2009 about Obama and the Democrats trying to fix health care? LOOK, I LIKE THIS PART WHERE YOU SAY "YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!" OR THIS ONE HERE WHERE YOU SAY: "KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF MY HEALTH-CARE".

If I had my way we would know who these vocal idiots are and later when they are without insurance and want the communities help - I would EXPLAIN IT to them. "OH WE ARE GOING TO RESPECT YOUR CONVICTIONS. WE WOULDN'T WANT TO HELP YOU COMPROMISE YOUR POSITION. YOU WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE,... NO HELP FROM THE COMMUNITY ...AND YOU SHALL BE LEFT ALONE. IN FACT WE HAVE STOPPED PAYING FOR UNCOMPENSATED CARE FOR UNINSURED FOR THOSE WHO SAID THEY DON'T WANT HELP - LIKE YOU. SO IF YOU SHOW UP AT A HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM ASKING FOR CARE YOUR CONVICTINS WILL BE RESPECTED AND WE WILL ONLY GIVE YOU HELP IF YOU CAN PAY FOR IT.

MAYBE YOU CAN GET THE MONEY FROM ONE OF THOSE 3,000 HIGH PAID LOBBYISTS WHO WERE SWARMING OVER CAPITOL HILL IN 2009 TO STOP THE PUBLIC OPTION, OR THOSE OTHER LOBBYISTS WHO CALL THEMSELVES REPUBLICAN MEMBERS OF CONGRESS, MAYBE THEY WILL HELP YOU OUT - THEY'RE SUCH COMPASSIONATE PEOPLE."

1. You feeling lucky, punk?
It would grab attention, if not the most presidential-esque way of putting it.

3. seriously, without the "punk" part of course. He should say that. Some people are
kidding themselves (with a little help in the form of Republican demogagery and disinformation) that we really have the option to do nothing.

they need to be told to 'wake up', i.e. "HOW LUCKY DO YOU FEEL?"

5. This is a bit off subject, but those who can't afford health insurance
while in college are told if they miss class due to swine flu they may not come back to class without a doctor note. Some of the college students said they don't have insurance or a doctor and they were told to go to an emergency room. This shows how out of touch we are as a country with health care delivery and how out of touch we are with how to treat this flu.
