President Obama in Pictures: September 11, 2009

See the rest of the pictures here. President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama spent part of the day painting at a Habitat for Humanity house and then attended a memorial for survivors of the September 11, 2001 attacks.

I particularly like this picture of people holding up hand made signs. What a difference from the slick expensive signs the Eagle Forum passes out at Astroturf town hall meetings.

I'm going to ebay right now and look for some purple Converse all stars. I swear.
