FoxNews = Hunter Thompson, Glenn Beck = Humble

The stunning comparisons come pouring in. On the heels of Lamar Alexander accusing the Obama White House of making an enemies list a la Nixon, with zero supporting evidence, of course, comes FoxNews comparing itself to Gonzo Journalist Hunter S. Thompson and Victoria Jackson whiting Glenn Beck a letter praising his humility.

There was more truth in one of Thompson's most rambling sentences than there is in a FAUX 'news' story.

It's really getting to be too much. Too much of what they report just doesn't check out. Things they say are going to happen don't. I realize their viewers are at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to intelligence and thinking for themselves, but even the most oblivious eventually must notice that what Faux says doesn't always add up.

And, of course, the 900 pound pink Gorilla in the room is the fact that for 8 years, the Republicans had the White House, and for 6 of those years they held both houses of Congress. And things are a royal mess.

With job losses as high as they are, virtually every industry hurting, corruption in the banking industry, two wars based on lies, etc., even the most loyal Kool-Aid drinker has got to see that the Democrats really can't be responsible for this mess. What little common sense they have tells them that, whether they want to believe it or not.

I think Faux News may be going to far this time, as the things they've said exist on tape, and it will be difficult for them to explain the inconsistencies in their "news" after the fact, when it's obvious they weren't telling the truth.

Keep at it, Faux. You're digging your own grave.
