Ulf Nilson: "The torture, the lies, the hypocrisy - the USA makes me vomit".

Daily newspaper: Expressen,http://www.expressen.se/index.jsp?a=133231
Editorial by: Ulf Nilson
Date: Sunday, May 9, '04
*note: this article is in Swedish. Translated by CLiss.

Right now, the USA makes me want to vomit.

This is not only because of the torture in Baghdad, but also because of the lies. And the hypocrisy in the USA and in other places.

The minister of defence Rumsfeld must go. He apparently knew that the torture was going on in January, but he probably knew earlier, and there were even photos in the papers. Whether Rummy warned Bush is not clear. The lies collide with each other. But in a way, that is less important because the voters will take care of Bush in November.

No tears from me. To torment and degrade fellow human beings by hitting, whipping, pissing on and forcing to masturbate is the most despicable thing a person can do. And this is done in the name of freedom. FREEDOM! This is throwing oneself into a black hole without any hope of redemption or return. Saddam's torture was worse?

more, much more

Well, there's the opinion of one newspaper editor.

2. Mr. Nilson, we're not ALL bad.
Outside the US, how well-known is the fact that 50% of Americans despise this President?

I often ponder the fact that I am being painted with the same brush as empty-headed war-mongering Bush lackeys. Now THAT makes me want to vomit.

3. The sad fact is the other some-50% have given him a blank check
to do what he wishes with respect to international law and treaties, the UN, the environment, fiscal and tax policies which jeopardize the soundness of the Federal government and value of the dollar, Congressional purse strings and war making authority, et al and they rapturously support and applaud his policies and actions no matter how potentially catastrophic they might be.

4. CONSISTENTLY
You guys underperform. MILLIONS is the streets in capitols worldwide, IIRC London had nearly 2 million in the streets before *drunk monkey invaded- 2 arrests. Everyone wonders, "WHAT THE HELL has happened to them? WHERE THE FUCK ARE THEY???" It needs to be 95% awareness that *dimwit is a disaster and 50% making VERY LOUD NOISES. I am actually encouraged by "the most recent scandal." Bare skin gets Ami attention.
