Must read.."Michael Moore's Candid Camera..NYT..
Reveiw of Fahrenheit 911...

snip...

But why should we hear about body bags, and deaths, and how many, what day it's gonna happen, and how many this or what do you suppose? Or, I mean, it's, it's not relevant. So why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that? And watch him suffer."
— Barbara Bush on "Good Morning America,"
March 18, 2003

SHE needn't have worried. Her son wasn't suffering. In one of the several pieces of startling video exhibited for the first time in Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11," we catch a candid glimpse of President Bush some 36 hours after his mother's breakfast TV interview — minutes before he makes his own prime-time TV address to take the nation to war in Iraq. He is sitting at his desk in the Oval Office. A makeup woman is doing his face. And Mr. Bush is having a high old time. He darts his eyes about and grins, as if he were playing a peek-a-boo game with someone just off-camera. He could be a teenager goofing with his buds to relieve the passing tedium of a haircut.
...unsnip

Can hardly wait to see this movie.

1. I think this movie is the nail in Bush's re-election coffin...
...assuming the election isn't stolen again, of course.

3. there will likely be an event before this movie is released--
There is no way out for these clowns' admin to recoup after a big portion of the American population sees Moore's movie.
It's irreversable damage---

It just won best film of the year yesterday we hear very little mention of it on the news(on television).
what does that tell you?
Are they just going to ignore it the best they can ?
Is it so far fetched to think that this admin is hoping(and/or planning) for a second 911 attack??
I am in Los Angeles and I have to admit that I take the idea of a second 911 very seriously.
In fact I have just given 30 day notice at my job and my house rental and reserved a moving van--
I am OUTAHERE--
far away from L.A-
If any sort of Martial Law is implemented I want to be able to get out of the country and you'd better believe that L.A. will be gridlocked with people fleeing.

sound like a wacko conspiracy theory?
More than a few respected authors have indicated the possiblilty is strong that the U.S govt LET 911 happen on PURPOSE-
If they did, then is it crazy to think that they wouldn't do it again?
The time after the 911 was the Admin's "glory" days-
-they were on the best high and the best ride at Disneyland for a year after that--practically everyone bowed down to them--
Now that they are looked at in a very bad light don't you think they crave for the good ol days?
And what better time to get back the "glory" days than this summer before that image tarnishing film is released?
If there were a Terra attack, it would be so easy to round up all opposition to Bush regime and the good 'ol patriot act would be just the thing to allow them throw away the key.
The news agencies can easily be persusuaded to not reveal what is happening
(you know, the 'ol "in time of war shit" and the "under attack" shit).
This could turn out to be a really bad movie or a wild episode of the show 24 but
this might be the only way out for the current admin to save their asses
and we all know just exactly what they are capable of when times get rough and aproval ratings are down.
\
ps:
isn't if funny that ONLY in the U.S does the term "911" represent the code for "emergency"
...so I want to know, was deciding on this date for their attack really the planning of someone who doesn't even live here?
Would a foriegner really be familiar enough with the idea of using a date that can be refered back to so easily in future reference?
--Don't you think they'd be more than likely to choose the 4th of July or a Christian date like Christmas???
Was the choice of 9/11 just coincidence?
Well if so, aren't they just plain lucky to choose such a easily referable name for their attack.
Sounds to me like 911's marketing campaign was well planned by a hi- powered advertising firm.

2. last paragraph's a killer
"No one would ever accuse Michael Moore of having a beautiful mind. Subtleties and fine distinctions are not his thing. That matters very little, it turns out, when you have a story this ugly and this powerful to tell."
