Congress and other ailments - Gallup Poll

PRINCETON, NJ -- Gallup's 2010 Confidence in Institutions poll finds Congress ranking dead last out of the 16 institutions rated this year. Eleven percent of Americans say they have "a great deal" or "quite a lot" of confidence in Congress.

The FARK.COM version:

3. The Founding Fathers
Had envisioned the average citizen being senators and house members, not the uber rich, how the hell can the average citizen run for a senate seat of house seat without being a millionaire? Our govt has been hijacked by the corporations and the rich, the average citizen has no say in govt anymore.
