When police hide evidence innocent people go to jail, and

hopefully they are rescued from a judicial system on a fast track to super size our prisons. This recently released victim's story is a reminder that evidence should be turned over to those accused of wrong doing and not hidden, edited or destroyed.

Tuesday's settlement ends 2 1/2 years of litigation centered on whether Lansing Community College police Det. Rodney Bahl hid evidence of McCollum's innocence. Bahl led the investigation. His lawyer, Michael Bogren, declined comment.

2. I have always said ..

that laws should be enacted where, if prosecutorial misconduct is proven; everyone that knew, or should have know of the misconduct should be sentenced to whatever time the wrongfully acused was sentenced to.

This would end this kind of crap tomorrow.
