WMD Discoveries will be announced in September (Robert Novak)
<snip>

"Former international weapons nspector David Kay, now seeking Iraqi weapons of mass destruction for the Pentagon, has privately reported successes that are planned to be revealed to the public in mid-September.

Kay has told his superiors he has found substantial evidence of biological weapons in Iraq, plus considerable missile development. He has been less successful in locating chemical weapons, and has not yet begun a substantial effort to locate progress toward nuclear arms."

Does anybody know anything more about this?

1. Coming from David Kay by way of Robert Novak?
Well, if the report itself isn't spurious, the findings sure as hell are likely to be. Kay is a professional fraud and fix-it man. Nothing he says will be accepted without extensive independent verification.

3. Amen!
These guys have been leaking like a dog in a fire hydrant factory.

Keep dropping little tidbits like this knowing no one's gonna follow up. Sure, what a strategy of desperation that is when they're up against the wall and every public statement they make blows back in their faces.

So, they'll make an announcement around the time Clark declares what he's going to do. Then another one around the time of the Iowa and New Hampshire festivities. And all the announcements will say "wait till we analyze this some more" like the trucks that are now known to be for inflating weather balloons. Or the tubes that real nuclear engineers laughed at.

My favorite tinfoil hat is the one where they have Osama on ice, ready to drag him out two weeks before the election.

They don't know what the truth is, and all they can do is bullshit us.

5. the usual
This has all the characteristics of a new product rollout strategy, like some big corporation would do if they were introducing Chicken McNuggets or a new razor by Gillette. This phase is the "tease" campaign.

These people are so shallow. They make me sick. They think we'll fall for their duplicitous tactics.

2. Kay has insisted that WMD's were there ...
even when he wasnt there to actually know this ...

Davis Kay's objectivity can and should be FAIRLY questioned ....

Kay has been busy in Iraq, dutifully preparing the WMD's that the Neocons so desparately need ....

4. Wanna bet it's the hydrogen trucks again?
If they had anything good at all, we would have heard about it by now.

And this Kay moran is a professional liar for the GOP. So don't get too excited.

6. because you don't 'trot out new products"
a.k.a LIES, in August. Yeah, we've been through this one several times before. Isn't it interesting how everything happens in September, like clockwork, with these thugs. Yet another curious aspect to the most corrupt regime in U.S. history.

7. Whether or not WMD exist is irrelevant.
The only relevant question is "Did Iraq present an imminent threat to the United States?".

The answer of course is "No". Even if these weapons exist, their mere existence does NOT present a threat to the US. Iraq has NEVER attacked the US and has NEVER indicated that a desire to do so (other then the occasional rhetoric in response to US bombing attacks in the no fly zone).

8. And they had to be "deliverable"
What kind of "imminent threat" do such agents pose if they can't be deliverable? If there is no delivery system, they're not weapons.

11. David Kay
was sent to Iraq for one reason and one reason only....to plant the damn evidence and to exxagerate the evidence they do find. He is an expert at that for sure....he did this in 1991 for Bushit's father. David Kay has no credibility whatsoever with scientist in the WMD community around the world. He was thrown off the UN Team for unethical behavior for crying out loud. Only problem is that once he comes back with the so called "evidence" of WMD the media whores will love it and will follow lock in step with what Kay finds. It will take months to disprove his findings but by that time it will be too late. WE ARE SCREWED!

12. No WMD's. This pretty much proves it.
"Kay has told his superiors he has found substantial evidence of biological weapons in Iraq..." Bacterial slime in the back of somebody's refrigerator.

"...plus considerable missile development." Had that before the war, 5 miles over the range limit and they started destroying them.

"He has been less successful in locating chemical weapons," There are none.

"...and has not yet begun a substantial effort to locate progress toward nuclear arms." Because they never existed. Now we are lowering expectations from actual weapons to "programs", to "locating progress". WTF!!!

When I was a teenager I used to calculate theoretical rocket trajectories, thrusts, specific impulse and fuel loads, just for the heck of it. I think that would qualify as a missile program.
