Think of the scorn the victims themselves endured because they were "homosexuals", "sinners"---AIDS, to Ronnie's administration, was nothing but a "gay disease"--so what's a few dead fags mean to them?? Because of this I guess you can now look at his death as payback.

I've held back from saying much about Reagan, because I'm not
American and I don't like to be rude, but on another forum, not
connected with politics, I mentioned that his presidency was all
smoke and mirrors - he was the aw-shucks, down-home guy who was
responsible for countless unnecessary deaths in Central America,
and needless misery for his own people at home. Back came a reply
from someone saying "A friend of mine worked in the White House when
he was president, and he said you could always tell when Reagan
was coming down the corridor because you could hear the laughter.
He always had a joke and made people feel happy". I bit my tongue
and held my hand back, because if I'd replied I would have been
very rude.

But it really is frightening how simple-minded some people are.
