Epic Tea Party FAIL: Anti-union "protesters" out-numbered 35-to-1 in Madison!

The Wisconsin State Journal reports that anti-union tea party protesters were out-numbered today 30-to-1.

The crowd of protesters on the Capitol Square this afternoon has grown to as many as 60,000, according Joel DeSpain, a spokesman for the Madison Police Department.

Early estimates of the pro-Walker crowd were around 2,000.

UPDATE: The Associated Press is reporting that the number of pro-union protesters at 70,000. That takes the ratio up to 35-to-1.

1. And AFAIK not one incident of violence
perpetrated against the astroturf phoney-baloney teabaggers, thereby blowing another RW myth - that of 'union thugs' - out of the water.

3. Absoluty True
I was there.

There was sbhouting, some people yelling at eachother, but the protest orginizers had volunteers in yellow vests calming people down. It was a great idea.

6. And the baggers themselves didn't pick any fights
I guess they're only brave when they have the numbers. Like all bullies, they are deep-down cowards

9. The poor little Koch brothers were slow off the mark and didn't anticipate
these numbers of real grassroots protesters to take the square in Wisconsin. The Koch's couldn't get enough people bussed in to cause this situation to become violent, which is probably what they really wanted. Why else would you bus in faux, astroturf frauds to stand up for a dicktator Governor. The right is so predictable and the Koch's, who's father was king of the birchers, are trying as hard as they can to force this country and its people in a direction that it obviously doesn't want to move, a country for the rich and powerful and their idiot rabble, against the rest of us who live our lives base in reality using facts to back up our arguments. The Republicons are bought and paid for and do the bidding of the rich, powerful and corporations to the detriment of the rest of us. I thought they were going to win until Wisconsin. Thank you Wisconsin for waking up a sleeping nation.

4. I know, our media is reminding me of the Egyptian State TV
From reading the tweets and stuff coming out and seeing what their State TV was broadcasting. We are no different here, we just don't call our media, "State TV."

7. Like Amy Goodman says,
"If we DID have state TV, what would be the difference?"

5. and yet I'm quite certain that on National Propaganda Radio
yesterday, in the car, I heard a reporter say there were "thousands, maybe tens of thousands" of Walker supporters out. Now, my car is not particularly quiet, and one's attention is always divided while driving....so I can't swear to it on a bible. But I noted it at the time, especially since I'd been annoyed a few days before when listening to ATC and heard nothing about WI ... anyone else hear what I thought I heard?
