Wisconsin 14: Don't Meet with Walker!
Edited on Mon Mar-07-11 03:47 PM by Lastactiongyro
I got this today from the Rethugs:

An Urgent Message from Our Sponsor

Dear Newsmax Reader:

I have some good news to report to you.

This morning I learned that the leader of 14 Wisconsin senators who fled the capital has contacted Gov. Walker asking for a meeting.

The leader, Senate Democrat Mark Miller, sent a letter Monday to Scott Walker asking for a face-to-face meeting “as soon as possible to resume negotiations.”

Clearly, the Democrats want a “compromise.”

But this request is also a powerful sign that they know time is running out, that they can only hold the democratic process hostage so long before the citizens of Wisconsin demand a vote.

As I have told you in a previous letter, there is a fierce battle being waged for public opinion.

In recent days, opponents of Scott Walker have been gaining ground.

However, when voters find out about what Scott Walker really has proposed and the dangers of allowing the bloated public service unions to continue their ways without restrictions, voters are agreeing with us.

The League of American Voters efforts are having an effect. And the fact the Democratic leader is pleading for a meeting only proves it!

Please help our efforts to support Gov. Walker – Go Here Now

Citizens are repulsed by the big union tactics, the millions Obama’s allies are pouring into Wisconsin to stop and destroy Scott Walker.

Make no mistake about it, they are throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Gov. Scott Walker!

They’ve vilified him as “Hitler.”

Smeared a pack of lies against him, and even tried to bully him into submission.

They have used dirty tricks, such as taping a private phone call made by an impostor to Walker.

But the lowest blow of all?

Perhaps when Hollywood phony Michael Moore came to Wisconsin over the weekend.

Now Moore is no stranger to the far left.

He’s made a millionaire’s career out of trashing America. Recently, Moore offered to bail Julian Assange out of jail.

Now he’s lecturing Scott Walker about economics, claiming “America is not broke… Wisconsin is not broke.”

“The only thing that’s broke is the moral compass of the rulers,” slurred Moore to the protesters.

Now talk about adding insult to injury!

Scott Walker is thanklessly cleaning up Wisconsin’s $3.6 billion budget mess.

And he’s doing so with absolutely zero help from the 14 liberal Democrat senators who’ve fled the state to stop him.

The fact is Wisconsin’s move toward bankruptcy is fueled by these very same spineless politicians, who’ve awarded their friends lavish pensions and fat six-figure salaries for years.

In return for the largesse, public unions fill the political coffers of these liberal politicians with big campaign contributions. (Your tax dollars at work!)

This is the scandalous taxpayer-funded scheme Scott Walker threatens to break with reform. It’s why the public unions and their liberal allies are in such a tizzy.

They know if Scott Walker wins in Wisconsin, these reforms will sweep across the country.

Obama’s public union allies know they must break the back of Governor Walker’s courageous resolve. As goes Wisconsin, so goes America.

The truth is Obama’s public unions are against the ropes.

Scott Walker is winning.

When we launched our campaign two weeks ago, helping Gov. Scott Walker to stay strong became the League’s highest priority.

That’s because we knew if Gov. Walker was successful in taking back Wisconsin, many other states would follow his lead.

And we could turn America around.

The “genie” would be out of the bottle… Toothpaste out of the tube…

Now Gov. Walker has stayed strong, and in Ohio, Gov. John Kasich has followed his lead.

Ohio is on the verge of approving landmark legislation to strip away the public unions’ power to hold taxpayers hostage.

Thanks to the courageous example of Scott Walker, Ohio is on the road to economic sanity and recovery.

We see positive developments in Indiana and New Jersey, too.

But this battle is a long way from over.

We must keep up the pressure. Please Donate Here Now

The League’s powerful new radio ad is making a big difference in Wisconsin.

So are the hundreds of thousands of telephone calls we’ve made to Wisconsin residents.

The radio ads and telephone calls encourage Gov. Walker to stay strong and exposes how public employee unions are gouging the taxpayers.

It’s critical for you and the League to keep these radio ads running on the air this week.

This afternoon, I’ll need to make some critical decisions about the funds for our radio ad campaign.

It’s urgent for the League to keep up our support for Gov. Walker and to expose the public unions.

That’s why I’m asking you to do whatever you can, even if you’ve already donated.

Now is not the time to take our foot off the pedal.

Help Gov. Scott Walker to finish the fight – Donate Now

Thank you for all you are doing.

Yours for America,

Bob Adams
Executive Director

P.S. – Hollywood phony Michael Moore is now attacking Gov. Scott Walker. You know somebody by their enemies! Scott Walker is thanklessly cleaning up Wisconsin’s $3.6 billion budget mess. He doesn’t need Barack Obama and Michael Moore giving him lectures on how run a fiscally sound government. Help the League continue its powerful ad campaign to support Gov. Walker. Donate Now

5. That was the biggest pack of lies I've seen all in one place for quite some time!
"However, when we lie to voters about what Scott Walker really has proposed and the dangers of allowing the bloated public service unions to continue their ways without restrictions, voters are agreeing with us."
