The People vs. Goldman Sachs. Sounds like Blankfein was not doing God's work after all.
A Senate committee has laid out the evidence. Now the Justice Department should bring criminal charges

Lloyd Blankfein, chairman and CEO of The Goldman Sachs Group, is sworn in while testifying before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Investigations Subcommittee on Capitol Hill on April 27, 2010 in Washington, DC.

They weren't murderers or anything; they had merely stolen more money than most people can rationally conceive of, from their own customers, in a few blinks of an eye. But then they went one step further. They came to Washington, took an oath before Congress, and lied about it.

Thanks to an extraordinary investigative effort by a Senate subcommittee that unilaterally decided to take up the burden the criminal justice system has repeatedly refused to shoulder, we now know exactly what Goldman Sachs executives like Lloyd Blankfein and Daniel Sparks lied about. We know exactly how they and other top Goldman executives, including David Viniar and Thomas Montag, defrauded their clients. America has been waiting for a case to bring against Wall Street. Here it is, and the evidence has been gift-wrapped and left at the doorstep of federal prosecutors, evidence that doesn't leave much doubt: Goldman Sachs should stand trial.

4. It has been said by best selling author David Cay Johnston that there are two tax systems, and
it has been said by presidential candidate John Edwards said there were two judicial systems... So if this does not get prosecuted by the DOJ like medicare fraud does, we will know that justice for main street is but a coincidence?http://www.newsweek.com/2011/05/01/an-empty-offer-from-the-super-rich.html

“America has two tax systems. Separate and unequal,” says David Cay Johnston, a bestselling author and columnist for Tax Notes, who has spent much of the past decade exposing ways the tax system favors the wealthy.

5. if Obama would prosecute these bastards and actually get convictions that match the crimes
and recover a big chunk of the damages they did, I would not only vote for him again, I'd give money, pound the pavement, make calls, whatever.

I suspect it won't happen though or if it does like Ken Lay, Blankfein will conveniently ''die'' and be spirited away to Seychelles, Dubai, or wherever the rich flee to to hide from the rest of us.
