High schooler challenges Bachmann to debate on U.S. Constitution
A high school sophomore from New Jersey is challenging Rep. Michele Bachmann to a debate on civics and the U.S. Constitution. In an open letter to to Bachmann, Amy Myers of Cherry Hill, N.J., said, “I have found quite a few of your statements regarding The Constitution of the United States, the quality of public school education and general U.S. civics matters to be factually incorrect, inaccurately applied or grossly distorted.”
“I, Amy Myers, do hereby challenge Representative Michele Bachmann to a Public Forum Debate and/or Fact Test on The Constitution of the United States, United States History and United States Civics,” Myers wrote, according to a report by City Pages’ Nick Pinto.

Politifact rated Bachmann’s statements about the U.S. Constitution’s census requirements in 2009 as “Pants on Fire” false. CNN’s Anderson Cooper dinged Bachmann back in January for her revisionist history regarding the U.S. Constitution’s racist past.

9. Damn good idea Amy but you're intellectually light years ahead of Michele Bachmann. She'll never
accept the challenge.

11. Who lives in the 6th district of Minnesota?
You could easily excuse a fluke election. Living in Arizona, we have elected Evan Mecham Governor and JD Hayworth to Congress, so we have had our share of oddballs. Bachmann, however, has not only been elected, she was re-elected. And this was after serving in her state legislature. Did she never speak during that time, or do the people in that district just not care that much? How bad were the people she beat to win the elections?

In a recent poll, Bachmann led only Tim Pawlenty in the list of candidates considered to be serious (and Trump). This means Gingrich, Huckabee, Romney, Palin, Trump and Paul all polled higher than she did.

If I were ever in a poll with Trump and Palin in a political category and I lost, I would move to Siberia, shave my head, and refer to myself as 9/12 birther (no offense to Siberia).

That being said, I have picked up hairballs our cat hacked up that have more logic and reason than Bachmann has. I will still hold out hope for some GOP ticket combination of Palin/Bachmann/Trump. As a blogger, it would be like winning the lottery and reveal the GOP as the Mensa organization it is.

13. verges

That would have been something to see... A 10 grader, and a Rep Bachmann debate civics and the US contituion...

But I doubt this wil ever happend.. Rep Bachmann know she would be owned big time, even by a 10th grader and more or less been destroyed... And she would not let THAT happend..

So I doubt Amy Myers from N.J wil got any near ms Bachmann.. Even if this shallenge are something that she should not take down as easy as she might do...

When I doubt that is posible to se a light.. There young youth are showing that it IS lights... Lights that hopefully can show us all where to go...
