There is something deeper there.
If you believe society should be some way, and someone else does not. And you put that in a movie, they would call that a bias or a social agenda.
Disney took stories found the better parts of them and put them on film.
The matrix crew totally disliked the Hollywood system, probably so did Clint Eastwood, who had to make his own film Crew to make movies.
The easier way to understand it is knowing that film makers like symbols.

It really is a great song, you have to see the Love, not the nightmare. I know some don't see that, and there are lots of censors and editors that are trying to make it seem like a nightmare, when it can be about hope and love. And honestly, if songs like that, and many others weren't out there, I never would have made it through.
