n 1992, the hottest issue in the Presidential election was the North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA. This agreement reorganized American trade policy for a generation. Now, outsourcing of jobs and of production is routine, and investors can sue to break the ability of states and localities to enact laws protecting the environment, workers, or consumers.
Some Highlights: Panama is the New Switzerland for American Corporations to Hide Out....Columbia Trade Agreement, displaces jobs for thousands of Columbians...giving them no rights....
