Boehner: 'I realize the president is worried about his next election'

Boehner uttered this slick bit of pernicious prevarication, where else, but on GOP-tv (Fox-news).http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/173143-boehner-obama-worried-about-his-next-election#thecomments-form-message

Boehner achieves a new standard in bald faced, obscene lieing. Surely, this smug but of smut shocks any decent person and could not be uttered by anyone with a mote of moral scruple.

Obama has been compromising everything (short of surrendering the Statue of Liberty), causing no small degree of consternation among Democrats, to persuade the Corporate Lobbyists to give up their objective of a U.S. Default. Boehner apparently thinks nobody remembers McConnell's vow that the GOP will devote all its evil energies to making Obama a one term president (who would have known at that time that would include sacrificing our economic vitality and the full faith and credit of the United States - to defeat Obama in 2012!).

We all know who is about to cause the U.S. default. It doesn't matter what Obama offers, the Corporate Lobbyists have already assured a U.S. default (there is not enough time to avert it anymore). It's all part of their "scorched earth" campaign - the same tactic used by the Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia, burning crops in the fields to create famine and chaos, to help them sieze power there. The Red State Brigade is employing the same tactic here: destroy the livelihoods of millions of Americans with the Trickle Down - Deregulation Disaster, fight and filibuster every stimulus bill the Democrats propose in an attempt to build a recovery from this REPUBLICAN DYSTOPIA and now, cause a U.S. default - all these calamities being Obama's fault, of course.

In a simpler time Boehner and friends would have been run out of town on a rail with a nice coating of tar and feathers (what this approach lacks in subtlety it gains in clarity). This is what comes of Obama treating con-men and degenerates like trustworthy, responsible people. You can't close your eyes or turn your back on this lot. And the last thing you can do is trust them to negotiate in good faith.

8. I should have been more clear I guess
Boehner is projecting. He's worried about his re-election and does not give a damn about anything else in the Universe.

7. Can't frame a rebuttal? Don't worry, there is none. I'm just stating the obvious, to any observer.

10. Zee anti-teabag-inator!!!
Yes Boehner is scared to death of the monster that Dick Armey and Fox News created. Cantor is in a corner whimpering like a little baby (the rw radio hosts around here hate Cantor).

3. Bonerman knows if a deal is tough now it is even more so next year so this is all piffle.
It is his position as Speaker he is worried about. If he cuts out the Teabaggers and goes with a plan that relies on Dem votes his ass is grass and he knows it.

4. This prick won't acknowledge the fact that Obama,
love him or hate him, has said MORE THAN ONCE that he'd rather be a "good" one-term president than a two-termer. The man is, at least, honest ... THAT much I believe.

5. We all want to support Obama and believe in him.
If he stands firm on SS and Medicare, he will win in a landslide. They won't be able to steal it.

Why doesn't he know that?
