Who came out on top in the WI recall races?
Ya, I know there are still two more to go, and they're Democrats, but hear me out.

http://www.wepolls.com/p/1599312/Who-came-out-on-top-in-the-Wisconsin-recalls">POLL: Did Democrats come out on top in the WI recalls? (Click to vote)

Democrats won two of six races. In a recall, folks, any ground gained is a win, and any ground lost is lose. Republicans lost, plain and simple.

What's more important though, I think, is that seven percent of voters switched to the Democrat's favor. In one race, the Dem candidate got to within two points of the 16 year Republican incumbent.

It's important to keep in mind that this battle happened on their turf. In a statewide recall, like the one that Walker will face, it would've been a blue landslide!

1. I agree you need to remember these were districts that had just gone republican
in the year before. So two out of 6 is pretty good when you consider all.

2. TWO DEMS HAVE TO BE DEFENDED NEXT WEEK!
Then there is a victory for the DEMS. Right not it stands at: 2/6=33%, 3 (1D+2R)/7=45%, if they retain their both dems next week then it is: 5/9=56% winners. I think the Walker recall has to go forward. He is an uneducated man with a whole lot of power and those powers need to be curtailed. Otherwise, WI could be out 3 publicly owned power plants without any public input to the transaction. The repig legislature gave him unprecedented powers, and the recall could slow him down.
