The Republican-led Michigan House of Representatives is considering legislation that would prohibit public employees, such as teachers, from sending a political message using a publicly-owned email service.

Violating the law would result in a $10,000 fine for an organization, and a $1,000 fine and one-year imprisonment for an individual.

2. the wholesale ripping away of rights is happening around the
clock in the U.S.-we have more people in prisons than graduating from HS or college-that is the ugly truth.

6. I was looking to see if it was only during school hours
or not ... it doesn't say ..... it does say however that it can not be implemented unless MI changes its FOIA laws .....

I know that some things would clearly be political messages, but other messages would be open to interpretation.

Just another way to disenfranchise teachers and to fill up those private prisons.
