It was eviction night for Occupy Portland. Thousands of Portlanders turned out to protect the occupation with "people power."

I see a lot of nasty comments being made about the Portland occupiers in the comments beneath the local mainstream media news articles. The nicest comments are of this sort, "why don't they get a job? -- I hear they're hiring at McDonald's" The key facilitator of Occupy Portland shown above facilitated before and after her 9-5 job. There was a reason why those general assemblies were held in the winter darkness of 7:00am & 7:00pm.
