So, What Has Occupy Wall Street Accomplished?
This list is just the innovations and victories of the Occupy America effort that I have marked--if you have seen others, please include them below!

1. BREAKING THE SOUND BARRIER: Using both ingenuity and modern technology, Occupiers have broken the barriers of noise and silence that surround us, as issued forth by the MSM, their corporate masters, and the 1% government.

In the beginning, there was the Internet. People found ways to connect with each other to discuss the things that concerned them most...and those things gradually became injustice, the economy, and intransigence in the power structures. Online petitions flourished, and quirky little blogs sprang up, as the 4th Estate went slowly out of business due to corporate buying up and shutting down of print media, the corruption of public radio and TV, and the adulteration of broadcast and cable alike.

And then came the social networking tools, and more people connected.

A woman, incensed by Bank of America, using these tools, generated 150,000 signatures on a petition to not impose ATM/debit fees, and suddenly, BoA backs off, and Move Your Money kicks in. Occupy America was the next developmental, logical step.

The Occupiers invented the Human Microphone: a means of amplifying and broadcasting voice without the use of technology, because the 1% took away the microphones and bullhorns. See this example of the human microphone in action:

2. Breaking the speed of light

Then, in another case of Life Imitating Art, Mark Read created the Bat Signal for the 99%:

3. Breaking the Law

There are Occupiers seeking to forestall foreclosures by various means: occupying, disrupting, and seeking justice in the courts.

I can't wait to see what comes next.

2. It got a whole lot of people, who have been separated from each other by the GOP ore the years,
to feel they were one. The 99%. That is huge!!

They let everyone know that there were others just like them: fed up and pissed off.
For every 1 of the protesters out there, I would guess another 1000 who either directly support or are at least waking up.

It's a movement that scares them, I think, because it goes right to the core of the problem - that the smoke and mirrors of this fantasy "democracy" are no longer working.
