GOP sponsored legislation forcing states to honor other states concealed carry laws passes House
Edited on Mon Nov-21-11 08:51 PM by Bill USA
The government can't require people to get health insurance or pay a fee, but it can require people in states that don't allow concealed carry of weapons to accept other states laws regarding concealled carrying of weapons- according to the GOP. Call it the "let's risk more Gabby Giffords" law.

1. Honor other states' same-sex marriages, too
The hypocrisy is stunning in its hypocrisy.

5. Indeed that is true of these Republic Party congressmen
But as for me, I favor full faith and credit for both marriage equality and right to carry laws

3. Full faith and credit
and if you favor marriage equality, that should be a principle that is applicable to gun rights as well.

7. Of course it passed the house. Why wouldn't it?
The Democratic majority Senate, mmm... maybe not so much.

The next election may swing the balance one way or the other, THEN this kind of think might get interesting.
