WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH, THE PLAID ADDER.......
is going to jump ship???????? Whats with this "if Kerry wins the Nov 10 column will be my last". Do you really think just electing JK is going to solve our problems? He will face a Republican Congress in all likelihood that will try to block all of his initiatives. It took AWOL 4 years to do 12-15 years of damage to this country(sounds just like a war doesn't it?) and we will need all of our resources to help put our great country back together again and going in the proper direction. Now is not the time to give up the fight, but the time to redouble our efforts to help JK put this nation back together again. INOTHERWORDS - stay on board Adder and help us again in the future as you have in the past.

1. yeah, whats up with that? Why doesn't he realize that the work
will just be starting. Keeping him protected (safe) first on the order sheet.

2. I understand Plaid Adder
It's really hard to maintain the same level of intensity we all have now. I imagine drastically reducing the amount of time I spend on DU.

Having said that, I want her to stay. Pleeeease?

 :hi: :loveya:

1) I am not going to stop writing, or writing for DU. I'm just not going to be doing a weekly column any more.

2) No, I don't think our problems will be over if Kerry gets elected.

3) The reason I have decided to do this is that I simply cannot continue to dedicate the amount of time that it takes to do a weekly column. I don't get paid for this. I have a day job that is extremely demanding and I'm already falling behind because of the time I spend doing the column. Since I can't keep this up forever, I figure a Kerry victory is a good enough stopping point.

4) Look at it this way: if Kerry loses, or if the results are inconclusive, at least there will be a silver lining.

5) Also, FYI, I'm not a he.

C ya,

The Plaid Adder

4. Follow Howard Dean's Rule:
After the election/recount battles (and assuming Kerry wins), everyone gets one month off for a job well done. Then, back to work.
