Divided we Stand
Interesting editorial in today's Toledo Blade.

Divided we stand

WITH Sen. John Kerry's quick concession yesterday to President Bush, the country is spared a long, wrenching fight over the presidency similar to the one that tore the nation apart four years ago.

With tens of thousands of provisional ballots still uncounted in Ohio, Mr. Kerry mercifully chose to give up the fight rather than launch a protracted legal battle with an outcome that would likely remain the same.

But he was woefully underserved by his own party here.

One of the most disappointing aspects of the long campaign is that when the future of the country depended on what happened in Ohio, the outcome fell into the inept hands of the Ohio Democratic Party, a disintegrating organization that had better figure out why it keeps losing elections.

1. Are they really democrats?
That is a question that I have been thinking about sense this morning when I saw two members of the election commission on C-span. On woman said she was a democrat when one of the callers asked her, but I detected some dishonesty in her voice and later again when caller asked her if she would commit to checking the BBV machines, Here Republican counterpart jumped in with an answer that you would expect from a republican and she said nothing of any consequence and ignored the question.
It is most likely to me that the repugs have built up a mole network in some positions and when the time is right there actions help the repugs to achieve there goal.
Or it could be that they all are corrupted and are just playing a game of good cop-bad cop with us.
Ralph Nader please forgive me for waisting my vote.
